Rustic Style Door
with Bronze Rosetts and Lion Head
This
is a simple and affordable plank style design made from kiln dried
mixed grain fir. The door is a full 2" thick. I use
the wood as it arrives straight from mill, leaving in the band saw and
drying marks for character. The door is aged and finished with a penetrating
exterior oil. The cast bronze rosetts and lion head door knocker are
from
Mexico and add a distinctive Southwest look. The mortise lockset is from Stone
River Bronze.
