WARRANTY
LIFETIME WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
WGH Woodworking warrants that each door complies
with ANSI/NWWDA Industry Standard I.S. 6-86, and all
revisions in effect as of date of installation. The WGH
Woodworking Lifetime Warranty further warrants that the
door is of good material and workmanship and is free from
defects that would render such door unserviceable or
unfit for the recommended use.
WGH Woodworking further
provides a lifetime warranty against separation,
delamination, or splitting of the door or panels due to
rain, sun, weather, and other such factors when the door
remains properly sealed exclusive of a major calamity. In
the event of a failure Wayne Hausknecht reserves the
right to either repair the damaged area or replace the
door. In either event no charge will be levied.
LIFETIME WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
The following are not defects
in workmanship or material and are not covered by this
written warranty:
- The exterior finish , when
applicable, is warranted for a period of ONE (1)
YEAR from date of completion.
- All hardware will be covered by
the hardware manufacturer's warranty for each
item. There will be no labor charge for a period
of TWO (2) YEARS from the date of completion for
any hardware replacement or normal door
adjustment when the door and hardware is
installed by Wayne Hausknecht.
- Damage caused by attempts other
than Wayne Hausknecht to repair the door.
- Natural variations in the color or
texture of the door.
- Warp not exceeding one-fourth inch
in the plane of the door itself.
- Defects caused by the warp or bow
of the frame or jamb in which the doors are hung.
- Panel misalignment or shrinkage is
not considered a defect.
- Damage caused by normal wear or
the degradation of the finish, accident, fire,
flood, acts of God, vandalism, riot or civil
disorder, misuse, solvents, chemicals, mildew,
building settlement or structural failures of
walls or foundations.
- Stains caused by the wrought iron
hardware or copper patina are not considered a
defect.
- Failure to seal the top and bottom
edges completely voids this warranty.
- Damage caused by improper handling
or on site storage.
The warranty statements contained in this
certificate set forth the only express warranties
extended by WGH Woodworking for this
doorway, and the provision hereof shall constitute the
purchasers' exclusive remedy for breach of their Warranty
given under this certificate. WGH
Woodworking shall not be liable to the property owner for
incidental or consequential damages for breach of any
written or implied warranty on the doors.
