I use only traditional, time proven construction techniques along with premium kiln dried woods to assemble my custom doors and furniture. The joinery is very important so a door will not sag or come apart over time, the mortise and tenon joint combines mechanical strength with an extremely large glue surface. Each 3 inch long tenon has an average of 24 square inches of gluing surface, some designs, as pictured below, can have many of these handmade joints. The mortise and tenon joint along with modern waterproof glues make a door that is incredibly strong, and will last a lifetime.
